Dr. Jacob Sherer has developed an athlete training protocol that blends the neuromuscular system and biomechanics principles to train athletes that produce very high levels of athleticism and focus on injury prevention/rehabilitation. This helps ensure that athletes have long careers that are not cut short as is the case in a large number of athletes. Dr. Sherer believes that most athletes have movement dysfunction that most coaches are not familiar with and are simply overlooked. These movement dysfunctions not only lead to injures, they also steal power, speed, and strength. To fully reach the potential they are capable of athletes cannot be injured. In his experience in dealing with injured athletes, Dr. Sherer has developed protocols that marry injury prevention principles with traditional and non-traditional sports performance training techniques. An athlete’s training program must be carefully designed and must be tailormade to each individual for maximum performance increases.
